The 2010 Ancaster FilmFest Review


We are delighted to announce that 7232 people attended the twelve dates and thirteen films in our seventh year of operation. This total represents an average of 602 people per screening date.

$14 600 was donated from our proceeds from the twelve film dates in 2010.

$6700 was donated to the Hamilton Out of the Cold program.
$1450 was donated to Neighbour to Neighbour Food Bank.
$950 was donated to Good Shepherd Food Bank.
$1000 was donated to the Hamilton Bridge Program: From Prison to Community.
$1000 was donated to the Hamilton Food Share program.
$1000 was donated to Ancaster Community Services.
$800 was donated to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
$800 was donated to Crohns Colitis Research Foundation.
$500 donated to Ancaster Society of the Performing Arts.
$400 donated to Ancaster Food Drive.


Our average attendance over the seven years has steadily increased from 262 to 283 to 322 to 496 to 544 to 577 to 602. Combined results for our seven years total 78 dates and 87 films with an average of 419 patrons per screening date and a total donation of $74 875 to our selected charities.
