The 2011 Ancaster FilmFest Review


We are delighted to announce that 8798 people attended the twelve dates and fourteen films in our eighth year of operation. This total represents an average of 733 people per screening date.

$16 200 was donated from our proceeds from the twelve film dates in 2011.

$8050 was donated to the Hamilton Out of the Cold program.
$1650 was donated to Neighbour to Neighbour Food Bank.
$1300 was donated to St. Peter's Hospital.
$1200 was donated to the Hamilton Bridge Program: From Prison to Community.
$1150 was donated to the Hamilton Food Share program.
$1000 was donated to Ancaster Community Services.
$650 was donated to Good Shepherd Food Bank.
$500 was donated to Ancaster Society of the Performing Arts.
$350 donated to Ancaster Food Bank.
$350 donated to Rygiel Community Living.


Our average attendance over the eight years has steadily increased from 262 to 283 to 322 to 496 to 544 to 577 to 602 to 733. Combined results for our eight years total 90 dates and 101 films with an average of 485 patrons per screening date and a total donation of $91 075 to our selected charities.
